Choosing a Contractor to Take Care of Your Gutter Needs*

WARNING! DO NOT LET ANY CONTRACTOR INTO YOUR HOME WITHOUT READING THIS!

What contractors do not want you to know Pt. 1

*******************************************************************

Due to trust being at an all time low in the United States these days, really screening out contractors before you let them into or around your home is essential. Your home and your life are your most valuable assets and you do not want to risk either because of a poor judgement call.

The truth is, many contractors are not licensed, bonded, and insured on your jobsite. You need to ask them and then see the proper documentation necessary so you are protected. Being that we are in the Cleveland Area and we install gutters on a referral basis we have heard horror story after horror story from our clients regarding "incidents" at their homes.

What can happen you may ask?

Well, if a contractor falls off a ladder and they are not insured, they are coming after you. This is absolutely legal, and COMPLETELY unethical. You can be sued and even lose your home!!

If they mess up their work and you are not satisfied they will put off your work and in many cases will never fix the work to make you happy.

Companies that are not registered and bonded in the city you live in are NOT ALLOWED to work in your city. The sad thing is, it does not even cost that much and it protects everyone.

*****end. of Pt. 1, look out for Pt. 2 coming next week about how you can protect yourself up front!*****
